On Saturday 3rd October 2026, the team at Lilys Flowers attended the prestigious British Florist Association (BFA) Industry Awards. Having had the immense honour of winning Wedding and Event Florist of the Year last year, being nominated once again was a huge accolade in itself.

Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with incredible floral talent from across the country, the team took absolutely nothing for granted. The shortlist for the category was stacked with exceptional talent:

Following awards across various industry categories, host Morgan-Douglas Nuth took to the stage to introduce the highly anticipated Wedding and Event Florist of the Year category.

The excitement in the room was electric as the results were announced:

• 3rd Place: Go Tell The Bees, Oxon (honoured with huge applause)

• 2nd Place: Peacock and Wild, Winstanley (cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd)

With only the winner left to be crowned, a silence fell over the room. Morgan-Douglas paused for what felt like an eternity before delivering the news:

"It gives me great pleasure to welcome our winner to the stage... Lilys Flowers!"

It took a beat for the news to register, but as reality set in, pure emotion swept over the team. BFA Chair John Davidson presented the award alongside a beautiful floral bouquet—a rare and delightful gesture for professional florists!

Returning to the table award-in-hand, surrounded by cheers and hugs, it was a genuine "pinch-me" milestone.
